Street Harassment Support Website--Helpful or Not? →
I came across this website after having gone through two advanced google searches in hopes to find SOME sort of website focusing on issues of public harassment. After awhile I came across this—not the most advanced website but at least something. You’ll see on the homepage a clip-art image of a stop sign displayed with dramatic red white and black font stating “Stop Street...

Being a woman in the city is a quite taxing job, especially when you are a student, young and eager to create a life for yourself in one of the most exciting places in the world. It seems a common experience to come to New York City with a buoyant and optimistic outlook on life and yourself, only to realize what traumatic and daunting forces seem to be constantly working against you.
